Set on the 4th floor of the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Pagoda is a luxurious yet welcoming Cantonese dining destination.

Its interiors draw inspiration from Chinese pagodas—elegant, tiered eaves and warm lacquer hues create a grand but inviting ambiance. The restaurant serves up rich favorites like prawns with asparagus dumplings, barbecued Peking duck, and steamed sticky rice with crab meat in bamboo baskets.

Ideal for gatherings, Pagoda offers private dining rooms (some seating up to 20 with rotating tables!) for a feast with a big family or friends.

2. K by Vicky Cheng

EA Rooftop at The Empire


Perched on the 56th floor of The Empire’s rooftop in Sathorn, K by Vicky Cheng is the first venture in Bangkok by Michelin-starred chef Vicky Cheng. It masterfully blends Cantonese and Chiu Chow flavors with artistic plating and modern techniques inspired by the mythical “Kirin” creature—creating a dining experience that’s both warm and sophisticated.

Highlights? Creative cocktails at the tea bar, signature dishes like the Chesapeake-style mud crab with black olives and garlic, and chic presentation in a rich, burgundy-toned setting. The restaurant caters to both intimate dinners and private celebrations with breathtaking views of Bangkok as its backdrop.

3. Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant

Located on level 3 of the Shangri-La wing, Shang Palace exudes timeless elegance. The Cantonese menu features refined dishes like scallop truffle, oatmeal prawn, onion lobster, and slow-cooked grouper casserole. Their weekday dim sum lunch is a great value too—offerings include unlimited BBQ meats, shrimp dumplings, and traditional buns.

Visitors consistently praise the favorite menu such as the suckling pork and the “Monk jumps over the wall”—a soul-warming soup that’s executed with finesse.

4. Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant

A truly Family’s favorite! Wah Lok, nestled on the 2nd floor of Carlton Hotel Sukhumvit, is a celebrated Cantonese restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide for its authenticity and elegance.
