Bangkok is home to the largest number of art galleries and art spaces in Thailand. The capital is also a center of art and culture that attracts a continuous stream of art enthusiasts. We want to recommend you to visit three interesting art spaces.

Bangkok Art & Culture Center (BACC)

An art gallery is a meeting place for art lovers. In the heart of the city, a nine-storey building built in a contemporary design commands attention with its white color tone. The interior embraces its open space with natural light. The building was created to be a source of learning and development in arts and culture with the highest quality standards.
The gallery, regarded as one of the top art spaces in Bangkok, hosts various rotating exhibitions every year – musical performances, dramas, literary works, and talks. These are also held in collaboration with international art organizations. Artworks by famous international artists and various activities are also organized to show the value and meaning of art from different perspectives.

Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)

Millionaire business executive Boonchai Bencharongkul has always been fascinated by the exquisite beauty of Thai art. That is why the 20,000-square meter Museum of Contemporary Art showcases over 800 masterpieces from Boonchai’s private collection. They are on display from the 2nd floor to the 5th floor, the latter also featuring diversified artworks from other nations. MOCA pays homage to the talent and skills of Thai artists, who are on par with artists from all over the world. In addition, there are also paintings, sculptures, graphic arts, and other contemporary media from both Thai and international artists. Inside the museum is a souvenir shop and facilities to accommodate the disabled, a policy that shows MOCA supports every individual to have equal access to the aesthetics of art.

River City Bangkok

River City Bangkok is an iconic 40-year-old glass building which sits on the banks of the Chao Phraya River on the Si Phraya Pier. It is a hub and center for art and antiques that collectors visit, owing to a constant stream of international and local exhibitions staged throughout the year; in addition to shops, artworks, handicraft products, souvenirs and antiques all available in one place. There are rotating exhibitions held throughout the year, with an antique auction held on the first Saturday of the month as well.
