SHARING THE JOYFUL MOMENT
Park Hyatt Bangkok
This year, Park Hyatt Bangkok celebrated the holidays by proving that luxury and responsibility can beautifully coexist. The annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony ushered in the festive season, rooted in the hotel’s core values: Art, Empowering Local Communities, and Sustainability.
The centerpiece, a stunning Christmas tree, was a meaningful and responsible display, crafted entirely from upcycled metal by renowned Thai artist Saruta Kiatparkpoom (Pin) of Pin Metal Art. This remarkable installation, along with other sculptural works throughout the hotel, underscored the transformative power of art and the compelling beauty of sustainability, setting an inspiring tone of shared joy for the festive chapter ahead.
THE SPIRIT OF INCLUSION
Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok
It’s the most wonderful time of the year for everyone. Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok is celebrating the 2025 festive season by presenting the Extra Happiness Christmas Tree, a unique structure dedicated to creativity, balance, and the spirit of inclusion. This meaningful collaboration is with 21/3 STUDIO, Thailand’s first dedicated art space for artists with Down syndrome.
The project marks 21/3 Studio’s inaugural hotel collaboration, following successful showcases at CentralWorld and their debut solo exhibition at MOCA Bangkok. Supported by the Association for Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities of Thailand (APID) and founded by Jarinee Mateekul, the studio provides a 200-square-metre creative sanctuary where artists with Down syndrome are empowered to express their individuality.
Located in the lobby of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok in Langsuan, the Extra Happiness Christmas Tree will be on display from 24 November 2025 until 4 January 2026. Hotel guests, local residents, and art lovers are invited to immerse themselves in the warmth of this holiday display, where every piece reflects a story of love, shared humanity, and inclusion.
THE WHITE CHRISTMAS
Anantara Siam Bangkok
Anantara Siam Bangkok celebrates its royal heritage with Legacy in White, a theme inspired by the hotel’s narrative, “From Memory to Legacy,” and the childhood portrait of King Rama VI.
The center of the celebration is the Heritage Tree, a masterpiece created in collaboration with INTHAI Studio, a Bangkok collective renowned for reinterpreting Thai heritage crafts using modern design and sustainable materials. This spectacular tree embodies artistry, community, and renewal, drawing inspiration from the Grand Staircase mural by national artist Paiboon Suwannakudt.
The mural’s timeless motifs, including songbirds and intricate Thai patterns, are brought to life as three-dimensional art pieces. Handwoven, gilded, and rich in texture, these pieces were meticulously crafted from bamboo by local artisan groups in Udon Thani and Sa Kaeo.
