Say goodbye to the old days of paying additional eye-watering shipping fees and taxes when ordering your fancy phone cases from abroad. The offline experience is here at last, so you can really get a feel for your tech accessories before splurging on them. CASETiFY, the global lifestyle tech brand, has just launched their first ever pop-up store in Southeast Asia on the first floor of CentralWorld.

Situated in the Atrium zone, the store will be here until March 26, 2023. According to the brand’s Head of New Markets, Beatrix Wong, Thailand is one of the biggest customers of CASETiFY, which is why they’ve decided to plant their first physical store in this zone. “Although it is a pop-up store, I’m thrilled to see how it’s so well done and feels almost like our other full stores abroad,” says Beatrix. “I think the reason CASETiFY is so popular is because we encourage everyone to express their individuality, as we have so many designs and colors available to reflect that. There’s literally something for everyone. We’re here to test the market and if there’s good feedback, a permanent store will surely follow.”

Along with the grand opening, the store also launched a new collection called “Jeff Satur x CASETiFY”. The collection, which goes beyond phone cases, is expected to be a hit among the pop singer’s Thai fans. This collaboration with Warner Music Thailand will also feature AirPod cases, iPad cases and water bottles featuring phrases and Saturn motifs inspired by Jeff’s songs and personality. Other global names and artists CASETiFY has worked with in the past include Coca-Cola, Disney, Yohji Yamamoto, the NBA and Blackpink.

Not every single design on every product type will be available in store (that might fill up a whole wing at CentralWorld), but you can order out-of-store items and have it delivered to your house. You can also pick up the items yourself at the pop-up within 2-3 weeks, without more pesky taxes. Besides sturdy, high-quality phone cases for iPhones (available sizes go back to iPhone 7) and Samsung, it’s likely that you’ll also be tempted by the AirPod cases, AirTag holders, straps, Apple watch bands, wireless chargers, laptop sleeves, water bottles, clutches and snap-on wallets on display. Prices start at THB 899.

They will be splashed with patterns or cartoons of all sorts, but if you’re on the low-key side, you can also customize your own simpler designs. Choose from a range of colors and add your name to it or go for the Photo Grid option. It’s the 21st century equivalent of keeping your favorite photos in your wallet — here, you can cover your phone case with your favorite photos directly pulled from your Facebook or Instagram. Customization orders can usually be done within two hours and ready for pick up within the same day, but check with the store to see how busy they are.

If you’re an anime head loud and proud, check out the walls that have the Pokemon and Sailor Moon collections on display in its museum-like glory. Beyond phone cases, there are cute Sailor Moon wristlets with beads, while pixel art literally comes to life with the Poke Ball AirPod case. And don’t forget to bring your old phone and AirPod cases to recycle at the store for a 15% discount. To date, the brand has collected and recycled as much as 28,000kg of plastic. Imagine the equivalent of 24 soccer fields getting recycled into brand new phone cases.

Anime fans of Pokemon and Sailor Moon can shop to their heart's content.

Bonus: Beautiful CASETiFY stores around the world

Thailand’s pop-up is not shabby at all, but the brand’s colorful studios in other Asian cities are definitely worth a stop by for a different product selection and photo-ops for the ‘gram.
