Every December, the quiet village of Ban Tha Rae in Sakon Nakhon transforms into a dazzling wonderland during the Christmas Star Parade Festival.
Taking place from December 20–25, this vibrant celebration honors the deep-rooted faith and culture of Thailand’s largest Roman Catholic community. The festival is best known for its grand star-themed procession, where brightly decorated vehicles and floats illuminate the streets and riverbanks, symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem.
