Turning Torso

Marvel at the Turning Torso, a neo-futurist skyscraper designed by the celebrated structural engineer and architect Santiago Calatrava. This 59-story residential tower, inspired by his own marble sculpture named Twisting Torso that was based on the form of a twisting body, reflects the elegant curves of the human form. Standing as the second tallest residential building in Europe, the Turning Torso has influenced the design of other iconic structures, including the Shanghai Tower which is the world’s third-tallest building.
