Inhale clean air in Khiriwong Village, Lansaka District

“Khiriwong”, a small village known for its best air quality in Thailand, making it suitable for slow-life traveling style. Experience the lifestyle of the villagers. Relax by a clear, cool stream. Take a walk and visit various places or rent local people’s bicycles to ride around and take photos as well.
Inside Khiriwong Village, there is a must-visit tourist spot – Tha Ha Waterfall. Called “Nan Hin Tha Ha” by locals, this waterwall is a popular tourist spot with abundant shades. There is a signature photo opportunity location in the guise of a suspension. The number one landmark here is “Ban Khiriwong Bridge, Khlong Tha Dee”, whereby anyone and everyone must ask to take a photo together. If you have time, do not forget to visit the fruit orchards cultivated by locals. The walking path into the orchard is on par to taking a trek to study nature and experience the villager’s way of life.

At Khiriwong, there are homestay-style accommodations located amidst nature. Also, next to the stream flowing from the waterfall, such as “Baan Suan Rerai Khiriwong”, a quiet and refreshing atmosphere in the middle of the forest. You can opt to sleep in a tent at the recommended “Tent Rim Nam Ban Khiriwong” which has a tent pitch and houses next to the water. Spend the night and fill your lungs with the best clean air in Thailand.
Phrom Lok Waterfall, a paradise for enthusiasts, Phrom Khiri District

The clear water of “Phrom Lok Waterfall” flows from Khao Luang, the highest mountain in the southern region. Located in Phrom Khiri District, it is a large waterfall with each level featuring wide stone courtyards and pond-like basins.
The walking route for visiting Phrom Lok Waterfall for tourists is on the first level featuring “Nan Wang Whirlpool” as the highlight that displays the image of a waterfall falling from a cliff in the background. But if you are adventurous, it is recommended to go up to the 2nd – 4th levels, namely Nan Wang Mai Pak, Nan Wang Hua Bua and Nan Wang Ai Le. However, this nature trail must only be led by an official from Khao Luang National Park.
During rainy season from July to November, there is usually flooding. Khao Luang National Park does not allow entry into the area for safety reasons. You should ask for information before traveling, so that you do not miss seeing the beauty and grandeur of Phrom Lok Waterfall.
Rafting at Krung Ching Waterfall, Nopphitam District

“Krung Ching Waterfall” is located in Khao Luang National Park, Nopphitam District. There are 7 levels, but the most beautiful level is Nan Fon Saen Ha, which is a waterfall from a 100-meter steep cliff which flows to join Khlong Kai – an important canal that supports the way of life of villagers in the Noppitam community. The clear flowing water (during November-December) makes it possible to do rafting activities along the water, which flows through beautiful rocks and cliffs. Along the way, you will see scenery that is full of lush green rainforests throughout the year. There are two stages of rafting here: “Pak Khlong Phitam – Lan Hin Dan” and “Pak Klong Phitam – Ban Thung Nai” with officers taking care of safety along the river. After rafting activities, you can also stop by the Krung Ching natural hot springs and visit the Swan Cave as well.
