For a third consecutive year, THAI and the iconic Thai silk house Jim Thompson have renewed their creative partnership, unveiling an elegant new in-flight collection. Set to debut in 2026, the collaboration includes a thoughtfully curated range of amenity kits, an exclusive comfort wear collection for Royal Silk Class passengers, and refined Thai-designed menu covers for Royal First Class. Each element is conceived to enrich the onboard experience with a distinctive sense of place.

At the heart of the collection is a striking new series of amenity kits featuring 14 original prints inspired by Thai heritage and natural beauty. Among them, the House on the Klong design evokes the tranquil charm of traditional Thai homes set amid lush tropical gardens at the Jim Thompson House Museum, while the Orchids Bunch pattern celebrates the delicate purple orchid – long the emblem of THAI. Inside each kit, passengers will find a suite of carefully selected essentials presented in sustainable packaging, including biodegradable toothbrushes and shoehorns, socks, hand lotion, lip balm, and essential-oil rollerballs. The kits are available to Royal Silk Class passengers on international flights of 3 hours 30 minutes or longer, with the exception of routes to Milan, Paris, Tokyo (Narita), and Shanghai.

Another highlight of the partnership is an airline first – the introduction of comfort wear for Royal Silk Class passengers traveling on European routes. Designed exclusively by Jim Thompson for THAI, the comfort wear forms part of the Royal Silk Class Elephant Series and features a long-sleeved top and matching trousers crafted for optimal comfort. The design showcases Jim Thompson’s signature Origami Elephant motif, a subtle tribute to Thailand’s cultural symbolism.

Meanwhile, passengers in Royal First Class will encounter another refined touch: menu covers lined with exquisite woven textiles from Jim Thompson Home Furnishings collection, the brand’s acclaimed interior collection widely used in luxury hotels and residences around the world.

All of this reflects a deliberate commitment to delivering an exceptional travel experience. Inviting travelers to immerse themselves in the beauty of Thai culture through the designs of Jim Thompson is in harmony with THAI’s elevation of every dimension of in-flight service.
