Sixty artists from Thailand and beyond are gathering in Phuket for the country’s fourth biennale: an exploration of humanity’s relationship with nature and animals titled Eternal [Kalpa]. Artworks will occupy unexpected and thought-provoking spaces all across the island, from the colonial-era Chartered Bank building to heritage museums and scenic coastal spots such as Promthep Cape. Local artists will welcome guests into their private studios while pavilions and outdoor works will contemplate and showcase Phuket’s natural rhythms, history, and progress.
