Set your sights on new horizons this November. Discover a trio of must-visit destinations — from exploring a magnificent house of art in China, to unwinding at a serene coastal sanctuary in Türkiye, and awakening your artistic soul in the vibrant heart of Bangkok. November truly has it all.

1. Opera for All

Shanghai, China

Forget everything you know about opera houses. Due to open by the end of 2025, the Shanghai Grand Opera House will combine high art with an elevated promenade that overlooks the Huangpu River, all thanks to a spiraling outdoor staircase and rooftop. Inside, its monumental form will be matched by sublime facilities, including three theaters where silk walls and red-stained oak create acoustic perfection. This striking, fan-inspired new development is designed to make opera and other performing arts accessible to everyone, and to turn Shanghai’s waterfront into another stunning stage.

2. Seafront Sanctuary

Bodrum, Türkiye

With its rooms and cabanas overlooking the dramatic coastline of Türkiye’s Bodrum peninsula, OKU Bodrum is a breathtaking adults-only boutique hotel. The spa and yoga shala here blend deep restoration and holistic healing with sunset backdrops, while the 58 clifftop suites – many with private pools and panoramic views – cascade down toward the Aegean Sea’s turquoise waters. Three restaurants celebrate Japanese fusion and Mediterranean flavors, and yachts to hidden coves launch from the private jetty. Book this shoreline getaway if wellness experiences and Turkish delights float your boat.

Looking for the holistic getaway? Fly to Türkiye with Thai Airways!

3. A Raw Awakening

Bangkok, Thailand

“Dib”, which means raw in Thai, perfectly captures the spirit of a new contemporary art museum housed in a converted 1980s warehouse, Dib Bangkok (opens December 2025). Designed by WHY Architecture, the three floors spanning from austere bare concrete to skylit white-cube galleries are informed by Buddhist principles, while its eleven galleries showcase over 1,000 works by 200 artists from all corners of the world. Don’t miss The Chapel: a mosaic-tiled gallery that doubles as a contemplative space. Inaugural exhibition “Invisible Presence” will place art installations by local legends such as Montien Boonma alongside paintings and sculptures by international greats like Lee Bul and Anselm Kiefer.
