1. To-ji Temple Market
Kyoto, Japan
“To-ji Temple” of Kyoto is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Every 21st of each month marks the day when the temple courtyard is transformed into the “Mieku” flea market, also known as Kobo-san market with cloths, accessories, used Kimonos, local products, toys, flora & fauna, food and other items for sale at affordable prices. There are over 1,200 vendors. Crowds start packing the market in the afternoon, so come to To-ji Temple before 10 a.m.
Opening Hours: Every 21st of the month 09.00-16.00
Access: A 10-minute walk from Kyoto station or a 5-minute walk from To-ji station (Kintetsu Kyoto Line)
Tips: This flea market is one of the rare markets in Japan where bargaining and prices can be negotiated.

2. Marché aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves
Paris, France
Experience life like a true Parisian at the most famous antique market located in District 14 of Paris. Walk the streets lined with shops on both sides and you will be transported back in time – experience Paris and understand the exclusive tastes and lifestyles of an era long gone. There are shops selling second-hand clothing and accessories, antique silverware, old posters, books, rare vinyl records, as well as Hermes scarves or even Christian Dior skirts.
